Youth Mentoring Program

The P.E.A.R.L.S. Club is Emerging Pearls Foundation’s longest-running signature program designed to mentor young ladies in 6th-8th grades. P.E.A.R.L.S (standing for Positive & Engaged Achievers Reaching Goals Though Leadership & Service) has been preparing young ladies for the future since 2007. This 9-month program promotes self-worth, increasing financial literacy, improving perspectives toward education, and developing leadership skills of middle school girls from across the Indianapolis metropolitan area.

​The 2024-2025 cohort of young ladies participated in monthly workshops covering topics that are both timely and timeless, such as self-image, bullying/cyber-bullying, character building, culture, college visitation, community service, social graces, and personal hygiene. Reinforcing the lessons learned from the workshops is the support and encouragement the girls receive through one-on-one mentoring. This is the hallmark of the P.E.A.R.L.S. Club. Furthermore, participants fundraise and earn college scholarships and other awards throughout the program.​​​
