Youth Mentoring Program

Committed to giving and a willingness to serve are at the core of the Emerging Young Leaders Program or "The Pearls Program."  Since its inception, the Pearls Club has blossomed into a nine-month mentoring program with over 200 middle school girls in the IPS, Lawrence, Pike, Warren, Washington, and Hamilton South Eastern school districts in Central Indiana. This program has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to our Pearls (mentees) since its first class in 2006, and with your continued support, we hope to continue our support to help young girls move through high school and then college.

The mission of the mentoring program is to promote a sense of self-worth, increase financial literacy, improve perspectives toward education, and provide positive support and encouragement.

The current 2022-2023 class is underway, with 30 Pearls matriculating through the program. Each participant is assigned an adult female mentor, attends monthly group educational sessions, participates in community service, and is showcased at our end-of-the-year culminating program.

Additionally, in 2023 the Emerging Young Leaders Institute will launch to include middle school boys and girls ages 11 - 13.
